Country Garden Services Holdings Company Limited (CG Services) has introduced a scrip dividend scheme covering both its 2025 final and special dividends, giving shareholders the choice between cash, new shares, or a combination of both.
CG Services declared a final dividend of RMB 0.0462 per share and a special dividend of RMB 0.4179 per share, together equivalent to RMB 0.4641 per share (HK$0.5337 after conversion at RMB1 = HK$1.14964). The aggregate payout represents roughly RMB 1.51 billion, or 60% of the group’s 2025 core net profit attributable to shareholders.
Shareholders recorded on 11 June 2026 (Record Date) may elect: 1. Cash only (HK$0.5337 per share); 2. New shares only, priced at HK$5.47 each (five-day average closing price from 8–12 June 2026); or 3. A cash-and-scrip mix.
Based on 3,256,730,489 eligible shares, full cash election would require HK$1.74 billion. Full scrip election would result in the issuance of up to 317,754,490 new shares, equal to 9.76% of the pre-issue share capital (8.89% post-issue). Fractional entitlements will be rounded down, with any residual benefit accruing to the company.
Key dates: • Last cum-dividend trading day: 5 June 2026 • Ex-dividend date: 8 June 2026 • Record Date: 11 June 2026 • Election deadline: 4:30 p.m., 27 July 2026 • Despatch of dividend warrants / share certificates: 21 August 2026 • First trading day of new shares: 24 August 2026
The scrip scheme is conditional upon the Stock Exchange granting listing approval for the new shares. No jurisdictions have been excluded from participation; 210 overseas shareholders spanning Australia, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, mainland China, Taiwan, the British Virgin Islands, and the United States may participate subject to local regulations. Mainland investors holding CG Services through Shanghai and Shenzhen Connect can elect via ChinaClear’s nominee arrangements.
As of 2 July 2026, 214.56 million share options remain outstanding; any shares issued upon their exercise will not be entitled to these dividends.
The company highlights that shareholders electing new shares avoid brokerage, stamp duty, and related dealing costs, while retained cash supports CG Services’ working capital.
