Recently, an artificial intelligence application training class opened at the practical training base in Xiongan New Area, with trainees from various units in Xiongan entering the classroom to find the intersection between AI and their work through hands-on practice. Through a series of AI practical training courses and the implementation of batches of application scenarios, Xiongan continues to promote "AI+" empowerment in urban development.
At nine in the morning, the classroom was already full. The large screen displayed the operation interface of AI software, and trainees followed the steps for hands-on practice, recording prompts and key operating points. Many of them directly entered work challenges such as report organization and document sorting into the tools for on-the-spot testing.
The person busy at the computer was Huang Qiao, an AI product manager at Xiongan Group Digital City Company. Already familiar with AI herself, she signed up for this training course. During breaks, many trainees approached her for discussion, and she also brought her own confusion from daily work to consult the instructors.
After the training ended, we arranged to meet Huang Qiao the next day at her company. As soon as she arrived at her workstation, she got busy, skillfully operating the AI tools on her screen. After a while, Huang Qiao went to the meeting room and began training two colleagues.
In January 2023, Huang Qiao joined Xiongan Group Digital City Company. In her view, Xiongan New Area is a hot land for entrepreneurship, and she hopes to build a career in this free, open, and innovation-oriented city. After joining, Huang Qiao first brought her child to Xiongan, while her husband followed the first batch of centrally administered state-owned enterprises relocated to the new area in 2024. The family bought a home and settled down in Xiongan.
This training had no exam, but each class included hands-on segments. After the three-day training, trainees were required to try real business tasks, using AI to solve a specific problem—financial accounting, data collection, or document drafting. Although trainees came from different units, they all hoped to use AI tools to better solve problems in their daily work.
These AI practical training courses are a microcosm of the growth of Xiongan as an AI-native city. Relying on the AI practical training base, Xiongan New Area closely aligns AI training courses with real scenarios in government affairs and people's livelihoods. Through a combination of long and short classes and tiered rotational training, trainees integrate learning with application and bring AI capabilities to the front lines of business.
At the recent 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiongan), Ma Yangbiao also said that the new area has cumulatively trained more than 1,500 person-times and implemented more than 200 "AI+" scenarios. AI practical training is cultivating and supplying AI professionals for all walks of life. In the future, Xiongan will also focus on digital city construction and key areas such as transportation, aerospace, and healthcare, advance the construction of trusted data spaces, and continuously improve a safe and healthy AI application ecosystem.
