Deep News10-28

With just over ten days left until the opening of the 15th National Games in Guangzhou, Wang Xiaodong, Chairman of Guangzhou Double Fish Sports Goods Group, revealed that this marks the fifth time the company has served the National Games and the second consecutive edition as the exclusive supplier of full-range table tennis equipment.

Wang introduced that for this edition, Double Fish has integrated the "Hawk-Eye + AI" system into table tennis tables for the first time, allowing audiences to enjoy an "immersive" viewing experience similar to tennis Grand Slams. The technology will debut in the Macau competition zone and is planned to be extended to all matches in the future.

Beyond "hardware + algorithms," Double Fish has also taken on multiple roles: serving as the sports presentation service provider for the Guangzhou zone, overseeing cheerleading performances, light shows, and audience interactions; acting as the atmosphere supervision unit, ensuring visual safety and noise control throughout the event; and providing logistical support for basketball venues in Shantou and Zhongshan. Additionally, the company has launched over 3,000 retail outlets nationwide, offering official licensed merchandise for the 15th National Games, with expected sales of event-related products exceeding 120 million yuan.

Wang expressed his hope that the 15th National Games will help transform Guangzhou's "event traffic" into "industrial growth." He believes the Games will further advance Guangzhou's "sports+" strategy, deepening the integration of sports with culture, tourism, technology, and consumption. The event aims to enhance public fitness services and shift sports consumption from "spectator-driven" to "participation-driven," ultimately supporting Guangzhou's goal of becoming a city of sports for all. The long-term vision is to achieve sustainable, high-quality development for Guangzhou's sports industry by leveraging events to boost production and production to revitalize the city.
