Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Insider" is now officially launched, providing comprehensive access to the real market prices of well-known baijiu brands. Data collected by Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Insider" over the past 24 hours indicates that the average terminal retail prices for ten major single products in the Chinese baijiu market experienced a widespread decline on January 21st. If one bottle of each of the ten major products were bundled together for sale, the total price today would be 8,866 yuan, a decrease of 49 yuan compared to the previous day. Market prices have hit a new low for the fourth time in nearly two months, signaling a weakening support level for premium liquor prices and an accelerated pace of industry-wide downward adjustment. The market today displayed a broad downward trend, with eight of the ten major products declining and only two rising, highlighting the short-term adjustment pressures within the industry. Among the declining products, Premium Moutai led the drop, decreasing by 13 yuan per bottle compared to the previous day, primarily due to increased terminal supply replenishment and dealers offering modest discounts to promote circulation; Qinghua Lang and Xijiu Junpin followed closely, dropping by 11 yuan and 9 yuan per bottle respectively; Feitian Moutai fell by 8 yuan per bottle, as the continuous entry of priced supply from the "i Moutai" platform diverted demand, putting pressure on terminal retail prices; Gujing Gongjin Gu 20 and Wuliangye Pu Wu 8th Generation both declined by 4 yuan per bottle; Guojiao 1573 and Crystal Jiannanchun saw minor decreases of 1 yuan per bottle. Among the rising products, Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ and Qinghua Fen 20 showed weak gains, each increasing by 1 yuan per bottle compared to the previous day. The daily data for "Liquor Price Insider" is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to designated distributors of liquor companies, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampling data consists of the actual transacted terminal retail prices handled by each point over the past 24 hours, striving to provide the public with objective, authentic, scientific, and fully traceable data regarding the market prices of famous baijiu. Following the official launch of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on the i Moutai platform around New Year's Day, and the subsequent sale of Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle starting January 9th, the magnetic influence of this new channel on the average terminal retail prices of these two products is gradually becoming apparent. The daily liquor prices released by "Liquor Price Insider" adhere to a calculation rule weighted by real transaction volume, and we have gradually incorporated verifiable prices into the calculation of the terminal retail prices for Feitian Moutai and Premium Moutai. In other significant baijiu industry news, Jiannanchun recently issued a notice stating that it had received feedback from multiple consumers expressing doubts about the authenticity of 52-degree Crystal Jiannanchun (500ML, 558ML) purchased with subsidies on e-commerce platforms. Upon verification, the authorization letters provided by the relevant stores were found to be forged, prompting the company to advise consumers to request and verify authorization letters and obtain invoices when making purchases. Practical tests revealed that most stores, including Jiannanchun's official flagship store, refused to show authorization letters to consumers, and some liquor companies' authorization verification channels were inefficient, with Jiannanchun's official verification process taking 2 to 3 working days. Legal experts stated that stores claiming to have authorization should present the authorization letter to consumers, but also noted that an authorization letter does not guarantee authenticity; some low-priced baijiu might be recycled liquor, and authorized stores are not required to report their sourcing channels to the brand. Industry insiders pointed out that the phenomenon of low-priced online sales of baijiu might stem from distributors using e-commerce platforms to reduce inventory, which can easily damage the brand's price system, and Jiannanchun's action aims to safeguard its own sales channels and price order.
