At the 2026 China Auto Forum held from July 21st to 23rd in Shanghai's Jiading district, the General Manager of Beijing Hyundai, Li Fenggang, emphasized the company's commitment to rigorous testing and validation, stating they would never use customers for practice and would only deliver vehicles that are fully qualified.
He criticized certain brands, saying, "Some brands, in pursuit of faster time-to-market, skip many necessary tests. This turns customers from consumers into test drivers, which inevitably brings about numerous potential risks."
