According to an announcement on Pony AI's official WeChat account, the company and BAIC BJEV recently declared they have officially entered a comprehensive, deepened strategic partnership termed "Five-in-One," marking the start of Phase 2.0 of their collaboration. Building on the successful experience of mass production and operation of L4-level Robotaxis, the two parties will significantly expand the scope and depth of their cooperation, focusing on the mass production, commercialization, and globalization of autonomous driving technology. Pony AI and BAIC BJEV plan to extend the proven successful model from the L4 Robotaxi sector across multiple dimensions, including products, technology, and markets. At the product co-creation level, the collaboration will advance from a "single model" to a "comprehensive portfolio," leveraging the mass production experience of the Arcfox Alpha T5 Robotaxi to forward-develop L4 autonomous driving models and build a more diverse Robotaxi product matrix. Furthermore, the validated product experience and technical solutions from their joint efforts will be extended to high-level intelligent driving models in the passenger vehicle market, adhering to the standard of "pre-installed mass production capability," thereby achieving a high degree of integration of strategic resources.
