Workers perform their respective duties, methodically sorting and packing apples, while forklifts shuttle back and forth, precisely loading crates of fresh fruit.
"The company has built a 1,000-ton standardized fruit storage facility and actively serves local orchardists. This year, it has reached full storage capacity, primarily handling premium varieties like Qincui and Ruixue," said Zhang Jiao, the e-commerce manager of the Yaozhou District Agricultural Support Service Co., Ltd. "Currently, during the pre-Spring Festival sales peak, the company is seizing market opportunities by leveraging online e-commerce platforms and live-streaming sales to expand distribution channels and sell Guanzhuang apples nationwide. The company not only solves the difficulties of storage and preservation for orchardists but also bridges the 'last mile' of production-to-sales linkage, helping them achieve off-season sales, effectively safeguarding sustained income growth, and supporting the high-quality development of Guanzhuang's apple industry."
The quality enhancement and upgrading of the apple industry have transformed individual "small apples" into a "major industry" that enriches the people and revitalizes the village. Furthermore, the establishment of green new energy projects has created a new dual-drive structure of "specialty cultivation + green energy," injecting a powerful new engine into strengthening the village collective economy and enhancing grassroots governance efficacy.
"Since the company was established, our apples are purchased as soon as they ripen, saving us orchardists both worry and effort," said orchardist Chang Zhanji.
