Within this category, revenue from basic software products was 214.6 billion yuan, up 11.1% year-on-year, while revenue from industrial software products reached 333 billion yuan, increasing by 9.7%.
Revenue from information technology services maintained double-digit growth. In 2025, revenue from IT services amounted to 10.6366 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%, constituting 68.7% of the industry's total revenue. Specifically, combined revenue from cloud computing and big data services reached 1.623 trillion yuan, up 13.6% year-on-year, accounting for 15.3% of IT service revenue. Revenue from integrated circuit design was 442.1 billion yuan, surging 18.9% year-on-year. Revenue from e-commerce platform technical services reached 1.4855 trillion yuan, growing by 12.7%.
Revenue from information security and embedded system software grew steadily. In 2025, revenue from information security products and services was 223.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. Revenue from embedded system software reached 1.3869 trillion yuan, increasing by 9.3% year-on-year.
In 2025, software business revenue in the eastern, central, western, and northeastern regions of China grew by 13.6%, 12.6%, 10.5%, and 9.8% year-on-year, respectively. The eastern region's software business revenue accounted for 83.1% of the national total. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (Jing-Jin-Ji) region saw its software business revenue grow by 14.9% year-on-year, while the Yangtze River Delta region experienced a 15.2% increase. These two regions accounted for 26.7% and 28.9% of the national software business revenue, respectively. Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Shanghai ranked as the top five regions in terms of software business revenue, with year-on-year growth rates of 15.3%, 10.9%, 14.4%, 11.1%, and 22.0%, respectively.
