Geekplus-W Repurchases 0.88 Million Shares, Treasury Stock Rises to 46.33 Million

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (Geekplus-W) disclosed that it bought back 0.88 million Class B WVR ordinary shares on 21 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HKD 8.14 to HKD 8.27, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 8.18 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 7.23 million.

Post-transaction, Geekplus-W’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.09 % to 977.82 million shares. Correspondingly, treasury stock climbed to 46.33 million shares, while the company’s total issued share count remained unchanged at 1.02 billion.

The repurchase was executed under the mandate approved on 26 May 2026, which allows the company to buy back up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now stand at 46.33 million shares, representing 4.52 % of the shares outstanding when the mandate was granted—utilising nearly 45 % of the authorised limit.

All 0.88 million shares repurchased on 21 September are being held as treasury shares; none have been cancelled. In compliance with HKEX Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), Geekplus-W is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling or transferring any shares from treasury until 21 October 2026.
