The 2026 XAIR Awards, initiated by the Guangdong Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Alliance, are now actively seeking submissions and have garnered a strong response from numerous enterprises.
The awards aim to gather a collection of benchmark projects and outstanding companies with strong innovation capabilities and significant industry influence.
Ten outstanding projects in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics will be selected, with each project receiving a cash prize of 200,000 yuan.
The total prize pool of 2 million yuan is supported by the Hong Kong-based K. Wah Group.
Enterprises, universities, research institutes, and other relevant organizations are cordially invited to participate and showcase the achievements in the development of the AI and robotics industry.
About the XAIR Award
The "XAIR Award" (Guangdong Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Award) is open to enterprises, universities, and research institutes in Guangdong's AI and robotics sector.
It aims to recognize projects that have made outstanding contributions in fundamental research, technological innovation, promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and industrialization within this field in Guangdong Province, with selections made annually.
Prize Structure
Each year, the XAIR Award will select ten outstanding projects in artificial intelligence and robotics, granting each a cash award of 200,000 yuan.
The prize money is exclusively sponsored by Hong Kong K. Wah International Group, encouraging project teams to pursue innovation and excellence, promote the high-quality development of Guangdong's AI and robotics industry, and build a global innovation hub for the sector.
Other award-winning projects will receive certificates of honor.

Selection Process
Award Collection and Self-Nomination: Project application materials will be accepted, with submissions required by September 11, 2026.
Eligibility Review: All participating projects will be verified.
Preliminary Evaluation: Determination of the award shortlist and projects for re-evaluation.
Re-evaluation Stage: Offline presentations and selection of outstanding projects.
Award Publicity: Announcement of all winning projects.
Award Ceremony: Final confirmation and presentation of awards.
