Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (abbreviated as “Weigao Group”) disclosed a minor reduction in its issued H shares following an on-market repurchase conducted on 07 September 2026.
On the trading day, the company bought back 180,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 3.23 to HKD 3.25, representing a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 3.2367 per share. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 0.58 million. All repurchased shares will be held as treasury shares; none were cancelled as of the reporting date.
Post-transaction, Weigao Group’s issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined 0.004% to 4.45837 billion, while treasury share holdings increased to 63.96 million. The total issued share count, inclusive of treasury shares, remained unchanged at 4.52233 billion.
The latest buyback forms part of the authority granted by shareholders on 29 May 2026, which permits repurchases of up to 446.46 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 6.64 million shares, equivalent to 1.49% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date. In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, Weigao Group is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 08 October 2026.
The board affirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable regulations and that all requisite funds were duly settled.
