Autonomous driving concept stocks advanced during the morning trading session. At the time of writing, MINIEYE (02431) rose 8.89% to HK$13.6; ZHEJIANG SHIBAO (01057) increased 6.97% to HK$5.22; SEYOND (02665) gained 1.98% to HK$10.82. On the news front, on the afternoon of December 26th, China's first batch of vehicles with dedicated formal license plates for L3-level autonomous driving officially began large-scale road operations in Chongqing. A total of 46 vehicles, which are Changan Shenlan cars equipped with L3-level autonomous driving systems, were involved in this road operation. These vehicles are permitted to operate on specific routes within Chongqing, including the Inner Ring Expressway, the New Inner Ring Expressway (from Gaotanyan Interchange to Laijiaqiao Interchange), and Yudu Avenue (from Renhe Interchange to Airport Interchange). Cinda Securities pointed out that regulations for intelligent connected vehicles in China are continuously being refined, leading to a gradually standardized development environment for the industry. Meanwhile, domestic brands are accelerating their research and development in autonomous driving technology, and the industry's penetration rate of intelligent driving continues to rise, with domestic brands showing the fastest growth in the penetration rate of L2-level and above advanced driver-assistance systems. In the realm of high-level autonomous driving, the market size for Robotaxi is projected to potentially reach 270 billion yuan by 2030.
