Bulletin Express10-16

Playmates Toys Limited (Playmates Toys) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 16 October 2026, detailing incremental activity under its ongoing share-repurchase programme.

On 16 October 2026, the company repurchased 8,000 ordinary shares on-market at HKD 0.48 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 3,840. The transaction was executed pursuant to the share-buyback mandate granted on 22 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 117.03 million shares.

Including the latest purchase, Playmates Toys has bought back 34.25 million shares since the mandate’s approval, equivalent to 2.93% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date. The group therefore retains capacity to repurchase a further 82.78 million shares (approximately 7.29% of current issued shares) before reaching the mandate limit.

As at the close of 16 October 2026, the company’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.135 billion ordinary shares. However, 11.40 million repurchased shares—acquired between 24 August and 16 October 2026 at volume-weighted average prices ranging from HKD 0.435 to HKD 0.482—are pending cancellation. These shares represent roughly 1.00% of the existing issued share base.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Playmates Toys is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares until 15 November 2026.
