At the first phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair, themed "Advanced Manufacturing," numerous Chinese companies showcased innovative robot products, attracting significant interest from overseas buyers. The exhibition featured sectors including electronics and home appliances, industrial manufacturing, lighting and electrical equipment, hardware and tools, as well as vehicles and two-wheelers. A dedicated service robot zone was again established for this session.
One highlighted product was an amphibious intelligent spherical robot capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -45°C to 65°C, suitable for daily inspections and emergency rescue scenarios. A company representative stated that the Canton Fair serves as a crucial platform for acquiring new clients, with buyers from Central Asia and Europe already engaging in discussions and factory visits.
The company aims for overseas sales to exceed one million USD by 2025. It emphasizes innovation, holding dozens of patents, with products already popular in markets like the Middle East, North America, and Africa.
Official statistics indicate that by 2025, China is home to over 140 humanoid robot manufacturers who have released more than 330 product models.
At another exhibitor's booth, a humanoid robot demonstrating badminton skills drew crowds. A South Korean buyer inquired about pricing and delivery for an order of 300 units after observing the demonstration. The company founder noted that this was their first participation in the fair, showcasing a robot capable of predicting shuttlecock trajectory and executing returns. Since the event began, buyers from North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe have expressed strong interest. The company's overseas sales have already surpassed 5 million RMB, reaching countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, and South Korea.
By 2025, the region leads China in the production of both industrial and service robots. The local robotics industry is steadily expanding its international presence through a "product + service + ecosystem" model.
At a different booth, a procurement manager from the UAE expressed admiration for a smart flexible robotic arm, stating it was exactly the type of product he sought. The company's robotics division president introduced a robotic arm integrating voice interaction, open-source algorithm models, and embodied intelligence control, capable of flexibly switching between tasks like assembly and inspection, which has garnered considerable buyer attention.
The company not only exports products but has also registered its own brand in multiple countries, aiming to synchronize "product globalization" with "brand globalization." Its overseas proprietary brand revenue reached 666 million RMB in 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of over 54%.
