On January 24, the Xiong'an Free Trade试验区管委会 announced that Beijing China Railway New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was officially approved on the 23rd to change its name to China Railway Materials Group Logistics Technology (Xiong'an) Co., Ltd. and has fully relocated to the Hebei Xiong'an New Area. The company has become the first centrally-administered state-owned enterprise's tertiary-level logistics technology subsidiary to be relocated and established in Xiong'an New Area in 2026 through market-oriented means. China Railway Materials Logistics Technology Company is the wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Materials Group, the specialized flagship enterprise in the materials and logistics sector within China Railway Construction Corporation's "8+N" industrial structure. China Railway Materials Group is a globally leading rail exporter and cement purchaser, consistently ranking at the forefront of "China's Top 50 Logistics Enterprises" for many years, and is currently driving the transformation from traditional materials trading to modern supply chain services with digital transformation as its core strategy and the vision of becoming a "Digital-Intelligent Supply Chain Integrated Service Provider." Following the relocation, China Railway Materials Logistics Technology Company will leverage the policy and geographical advantages of Xiong'an New Area to focus on providing one-stop, customized logistics and warehousing solutions and supply chain services primarily for enterprises within the upstream and downstream supply chain of China Railway Construction Corporation. It is understood that, to date, China Railway Construction Corporation has already established 16 secondary and tertiary-level subsidiaries in the Xiong'an New Area. A relevant official from the Xiong'an Free Trade试验区管委会 stated that the next step will involve collaborating with relevant departments to continuously support the transformation of China Railway Materials Logistics Technology Company into a supply chain platform service provider. The New Area will continue to focus closely on the requirements of承接疏解, serving疏解, supporting疏解, and underpinning疏解, persistently optimizing the business environment to attract more clusters of外向型 segments from centrally-administered state-owned enterprises to relocate and establish themselves, thereby accelerating the creation of a new high ground for the high-quality development of open industries.
