Weiss Asset Management Enters USD 1.69 Million Derivative Contracts on Continental Aerospace Technologies During Proposed Delisting Process

Continental Aerospace Technologies Holding Limited is currently subject to a proposed delisting, and a fresh disclosure made under Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers shows that Weiss Asset Management LP—classified as a Class (6) associate of the offeree—expanded its derivatives exposure to the company’s shares on 24 August 2026.

Weiss Asset Management executed two derivative contracts referencing a combined 3.64 million shares of Continental Aerospace Technologies, both maturing on 15 December 2026 at a reference price of USD 0.4650 per share.

1. The first contract covered 3.58 million shares for a total consideration of USD 1.67 million. 2. The second contract covered 60,000 shares for USD 0.03 million.

Following these transactions, the investment manager’s resultant position—including holdings of any related parties—rose to 791.46 million shares in Continental Aerospace Technologies. All dealings were carried out on behalf of discretionary investment clients, and Weiss Asset Management LP is ultimately owned by Andrew Murray Weiss.
