CR Power Jan–Apr Output Up 14.9%; April Solar Generation Leaps 46.7% While Wind Slips

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited (CR Power) reported a 14.9% year-on-year increase in subsidiary power plants’ net generation to 80.97 million MWh for the first four months of 2026, according to unaudited internal data released on 12 May 2026 under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance.

April 2026 Performance • Total net generation reached 20.34 million MWh, up 10.9% from April 2025. • Solar facilities delivered 1.58 million MWh, a 46.7% surge, supported by continued capacity additions. • Thermal plants generated 13.56 million MWh, an increase of 13.2% that remained the primary driver of growth. • Wind farms produced 5.03 million MWh, down 2.6% as lower wind speeds persisted. • Hydro output rose 57.5% to 0.17 million MWh from a low base in the prior-year period.

January–April 2026 Cumulative Results • Aggregate generation amounted to 80.97 million MWh versus 70.45 million MWh in the same period of 2025. • Thermal contribution expanded 20.0% to 56.38 million MWh, accounting for nearly 70% of the portfolio. • Solar generation climbed 45.3% to 5.00 million MWh, highlighting CR Power’s accelerating photovoltaic build-out. • Wind output edged down 2.1% to 19.03 million MWh owing to unfavourable wind resources. • Hydro plants generated 0.56 million MWh, essentially flat year on year.

Disclosure Basis Since October 2025, the company reports net generation on a grid-connected basis, including units under trial operation, to offer a fuller view of operational performance.
