Central China Management Company Limited (stock code: 09982, “Central China Management”) announced a board-approved plan to rebrand as “Centric Cogni Management Technology Group Limited” and adopt the Chinese name “中源科技管理集團有限公司”.
The proposed change, unveiled on 23 September 2026, is designed to signal the Group’s strategic transition from pure project management services toward technology-centric management solutions. Directors believe the new corporate identity will better align with the Group’s future business positioning.
Implementation of the new name hinges on two conditions: 1. Approval by shareholders through a special resolution at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting (EGM). 2. Registration of the new English and Chinese names by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.
Upon satisfaction of these conditions, the name change will become effective on the issuance of a Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name. Subsequent filings will also be made with Hong Kong’s Companies Registry, and the Stock Exchange will confirm new stock short names.
The board emphasized that the rebranding does not constitute a notifiable transaction under Hong Kong listing rules and involves no immediate change to the Group’s principal business, daily operations, financial position, or shareholder rights. Existing share certificates will remain valid and will not require exchange.
A circular detailing the proposal and the EGM notice will be dispatched to shareholders in due course. The company will issue a separate announcement once the new name and stock short names take effect.
