You should have a strong sense of internet trends, skills in writing Weibo copy, and relevant experience in Chinese new media operations, particularly with Weibo, is a plus. The Video Planning Intern will design video covers that fit the theme and meet the style and specifications of platforms like Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Video Account, and Weibo. You will organize and re-edit existing video material, creating Xiaohongshu visual content with optimized layouts and copy. Daily operations of various platform accounts, including content publishing, data monitoring, and strategy adjustments to boost exposure and engagement, are also part of the role. You will collaborate with the creative team, provide design feedback, and support content production. Additional tasks include analyzing internet video trends and participating in content reviews. We seek candidates with design aesthetics and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software, with a portfolio of video covers or visual designs. Knowledge of platform rules, publishing times, and algorithms for Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Video Account, and Weibo is essential. A strong sense of internet trends and the ability to create content appealing to younger audiences is required. Good communication skills for effective collaboration, a bachelor's degree or higher (with preference for juniors, seniors, or graduate students), and majors in design, media, or marketing are preferred.
