Amazon.com (AMZN) has reached an agreement to acquire Globalstar (GSAT) and become the primary satellite service provider for Apple's iPhone and Apple Watch. Amazon plans to commence Device-to-Device (D2D) services starting in 2028. The merger deal is valued at approximately $10.8 billion to $11.6 billion and remains subject to customary closing conditions.
