Citigroup Highlights Baidu's Apollo Go Expansion to Dubai as Growth Catalyst

Citigroup stated that Baidu's recent advancement in introducing Apollo Go to Dubai through Uber represents another significant milestone. The company is expected to further unlock value by demonstrating its artificial intelligence capabilities. Analysts including Alicia Yap wrote in the report that Citigroup anticipates Baidu will expand commercial services for Apollo Go autonomous vehicles with more global partners across additional cities. According to Citigroup data, Apollo Go has already been deployed in 22 cities worldwide, with recent weekly ridership surpassing 250,000 trips. Citigroup maintains a Buy rating on Baidu with a target price of $186.
