Ascentage Pharma (06855) shares rose more than 5%. As of press time, the stock was up 5.08% at HK$29.78, with a turnover of HK$14.63 million.
On the news front, Ascentage Pharma announced that multiple clinical and preclinical research advancements have been selected for presentation at the 68th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting. These involve four products: olverembatinib (brand name: Nailike®), China's first approved third-generation BCR-ABL inhibitor; lisaftoclax (brand name: Lishengtuo®), China's first approved domestically developed Bcl-2 inhibitor; APG-5918, a PRC2/EED inhibitor; and APG-3288, a BTK degrader. Together, these comprehensively demonstrate the company's deep layout and global innovation strength in the field of hematologic oncology.
Notably, APG-5918 received an oral presentation upon its first disclosure of clinical data. At this year's ASH Annual Meeting, APG-5918 will present its efficacy and safety clinical data for the treatment of relapsed/refractory T-cell lymphoma (R/R TCL) for the first time in an oral presentation format. R/R TCL exhibits strong disease heterogeneity, with some patients resistant to existing chemotherapy and targeted therapies, leaving limited clinical treatment options and significant unmet medical needs. As a novel EED inhibitor, APG-5918 has demonstrated encouraging antitumor activity and manageable safety in early clinical studies, and is expected to provide a new epigenetic targeted therapeutic option for these refractory TCL patients.
