OmniVision projects Q1 2026 revenue at RMB6.18–6.47 billion, gross margin around 29%

Bulletin Express03-30

OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group, Inc. released preliminary first-quarter 2026 operating data on 30 March 2026.

Revenue is estimated at RMB6.18 billion to RMB6.47 billion, implying a year-on-year decline of 4.51% to 0.03%. Management expects a consolidated gross profit margin between 28.70% and 29.60%.

The company attributed the softer top-line performance to cyclical pressures in the semiconductor market. AI-driven infrastructure demand temporarily disrupted supply-demand equilibrium for memory chips, while consumer and automotive electronics end-markets weakened, weighing on sales.

Gross margins across business lines remained stable, but a higher revenue contribution from the lower-margin semiconductor distribution segment slightly diluted the overall margin.

OmniVision plans to refine its business mix, broaden its product portfolio, and tighten supply-chain and cost controls to bolster profitability.

All figures are provisional and may differ from the detailed results to be published in the forthcoming Q1 2026 report. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to interpret the preliminary data with caution.
