PATEO (02889) has announced that it has received a project nomination notice from a leading domestic new energy vehicle manufacturer (the "Customer"), confirming its appointment as a supplier for the Customer's next-generation vehicle platform.
The project adopts the Horizon Journey chip solution, marking the industry's first project nomination for a high-end AI cockpit based on a fully domestic integrated cockpit-driving chip. This milestone signifies the commercialization of PATEO's AI strategy, transitioning the company from a leader in intelligent cockpits to a pioneer in "cockpit-driving integration" cross-domain solutions.
PATEO has maintained deep technical collaboration and commercial partnerships with this Customer, achieving a high degree of alignment in technical roadmaps, product planning, and ecosystem development. The Journey chip, a domestic high-compute vehicle intelligent body chip for integrated cockpit and driving functions, enables dynamic scheduling of computing power between the cockpit and autonomous driving systems. It supports capabilities such as multimodal perception, on-device large model inference, and real-time physical AI scenario simulation.
Leveraging its full-stack "software-hardware-chip-cloud" expertise, PATEO has completed system integration around this domestic chip. This involves building a next-generation in-vehicle interactive system equipped with physical AI and a domain-wide intelligent agent, enabling functions like real-time environmental simulation, proactive mobility services, and natural human-vehicle interaction.
This project nomination is PATEO's first commercial deployment of an AI cockpit scenario utilizing a domestic high-compute vehicle intelligent body chip. It also represents a significant milestone in the company's strategy of "integrating software, hardware, chips, and cloud with AI at the core."
