Polaris Inc. (PII) experienced a significant pre-market plunge of 6.67% following the release of its fourth-quarter 2025 financial results and 2026 outlook.
The powersports vehicle maker reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $0.08 per diluted share, a sharp decline from $0.92 a year earlier, though this beat analyst estimates of $0.04. Sales for the quarter rose to $1.92 billion, exceeding expectations of $1.82 billion.
However, investors reacted negatively to the company's 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance of $1.50 to $1.60, which fell below the FactSet consensus estimate of $1.72. The company also swung to a fourth-quarter loss of $303.6 million due to impairment charges related to the sale of its Indian motorcycle brand, despite strong demand for its off-road vehicles.
