To advance the integrated development of rural revitalization and the cultural tourism industry, the Tieli Federation of Industry and Commerce has taken the initiative to organize inspection and exchange activities. By leveraging its role as a bridge between the private economy and local government, the federation aims to create effective supply-demand matching platforms, foster precise connections between rural resources and market entities, and contribute to the implementation of rural revitalization strategies.
In a targeted effort to achieve tangible outcomes, the Tieli Federation recently collaborated with the Nianfeng Township Committee to conduct an inspection tour focused on supporting industries for cultural tourism. Under the theme “Gathering Flavors of Nianfeng, Winning with Culinary Trends,” the event brought together nearly 20 representatives from local specialty catering enterprises. Participants visited three major cultural tourism projects in Nianfeng Township, facilitating dialogue between government and businesses as well as encouraging collaboration among enterprises themselves. This initiative is part of the federation's concrete measures to boost rural development through industrial integration.
Prior to the event, the federation worked closely with Nianfeng Township to identify specific needs and match them with appropriate enterprises. Emphasis was placed on inviting ecological restaurants and folk-branded caterers that are interested in expanding into rural markets, ensuring that the pairing process would be both precise and result-oriented.
During the site visits, enterprise representatives—accompanied by officials from the federation and township—toured the Lingshang Shinian Eco-Cultural Tourism site, the Luyexianzong Resort, and the Hulanhe Cultural Scenic Area. They gained detailed insights into each project’s development plans, current operations, supporting facilities, and community service needs. Staff from the federation provided continuous support, addressing enterprise inquiries and identifying gaps in supporting services to lay the groundwork for future cooperation.
Following the field inspections, a thematic symposium was convened by the federation and the township to facilitate direct communication between scenic area operators and catering businesses. At the meeting, Nianfeng Township presented its overall cultural tourism plan, while the three scenic areas elaborated on investment policies and partnership models. Catering enterprises shared their specific collaboration ideas based on their brand characteristics, with several expressing immediate interest in introducing quality dining services to the township. Many also indicated willingness to create local employment opportunities through industrial cooperation, thereby increasing nearby residents' income.
The Tieli Federation of Industry and Commerce pledged to maintain a regular platform for ongoing dialogue and provide follow-up support to ensure swift implementation of cooperative projects. Moving forward, the federation will monitor project progress, help resolve challenges during collaboration, and promote a partnership model centered on direct ingredient supply, restaurant establishment, and employment support. These efforts are intended to extend the benefits of cultural tourism development to local communities, achieving a multi-stakeholder success that enhances scenic area quality, expands market reach for businesses, and delivers tangible benefits to residents. Through these actions, the federation continues to fulfill its mission of supporting private economic growth and contributing to rural revitalization.
