The latest data from the national pricing authority shows that the domestic refined oil product price adjustment window will open at midnight tonight (August 28). According to monitoring from the price monitoring center, international crude oil prices have been fluctuating during the current adjustment cycle, which spans from August 14 to August 28.
Starting at midnight tonight, the retail price caps for gasoline and diesel will be raised by 375 yuan and 360 yuan per tonne, respectively. On a national average basis, this means that 92-octane gasoline, 95-octane gasoline, and 0-octane diesel will each see price increases of 0.29 yuan, 0.31 yuan, and 0.31 yuan per liter.
For an average private car owner, this adjustment means that filling up a standard 50-liter tank with 92-octane gasoline will now cost an additional 14.5 yuan. This price hike reflects the recent movements in the global oil market and will take effect across all fuel stations nationwide.
