IMMUNEONCO-B (01541) has announced that the Phase II clinical trial evaluating IMM2510 (Peravrafusp alfa) in combination with IMM27M (Tazebsumab) as a first-line treatment for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has successfully completed dosing of the first patient. This study is designed to assess the preliminary efficacy and safety profile of the IMM2510 plus IMM27M combination within this specific patient population.

Since the initial investigational new drug (IND) application for the IMM2510 and IMM27M combination was submitted in 2023, clinical development of this dual-agent regimen has progressed steadily, demonstrating exceptional therapeutic potential. The Phase Ib trial of IMM2510 combined with IMM27M for advanced solid tumors has already established the recommended Phase II dose (RP2D), and expansion studies are currently underway targeting solid tumors that have progressed following prior immunotherapy, including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and squamous non-small cell lung cancer.

Early clinical data indicate that the combination therapy is generally well tolerated. Among the six evaluable patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in the dose-escalation phase, three achieved partial response (PR), two achieved stable disease (SD), and one exhibited immune unconfirmed progressive disease (iUPD), translating to an objective response rate (ORR) of 50%. These encouraging preliminary results confirm that the IMM2510 and IMM27N combination exhibits significant antitumor activity and a manageable safety profile in the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
