Yonghui has released the results from the second phase of its store transformation initiative.
From its opening on June 18th through June 30th, the company's Liuzhou Wanda store in Guangxi generated cumulative sales exceeding 17 million yuan over a 13-day period, with total customer footfall surpassing 200,000 visits.
Notably, the store achieved daily sales surpassing one million yuan for 11 consecutive days from June 18th to June 28th, demonstrating the positive impact of the remodeled stores on driving essential consumer spending.
This round of transformations focuses on high-frequency consumption categories such as fresh produce, prepared foods, bakery items, fresh snacks, and daily necessities.
The initiative aims to implement a comprehensive health-oriented shopping environment, enhancing product strength, in-store ambiance, and the overall customer experience.
From a product mix perspective, private label goods have performed exceptionally well.
Taking the Liuzhou Wanda store as an example, private brand products accounted for over 40% of the sales from standard merchandise, reflecting a growing consumer recognition for high-quality, differentiated products.
