China Southern Airlines (600029.SH) Reports 11.20% YoY Increase in Passenger Traffic for December

China Southern Airlines Company Limited (600029.SH) announced that in December 2025, the Group's passenger capacity input, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), increased by 11.89% year-on-year. This growth was driven by domestic, regional, and international routes, which rose by 6.81%, 2.80%, and 25.76%, respectively. Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), saw a year-on-year increase of 11.20%. The breakdown shows domestic routes up 6.88%, regional routes up 5.72%, and international routes surging by 22.77%. The passenger load factor for the month stood at 84.05%, representing a slight decrease of 0.53 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Domestically and regionally, the load factor edged up by 0.05 and 2.16 percentage points, respectively, while the international load factor declined by 2.03 percentage points. On the cargo front, cargo capacity input, measured in available cargo ton kilometers, rose by 19.28% year-on-year in December 2025. Cargo and mail traffic, measured in revenue cargo ton kilometers, increased by 10.86%. The cargo and mail load factor for the month was 51.95%, a decrease of 3.95 percentage points compared to the previous year.
