China Micro Semicon's Hong Kong IPO Prospectus Lapses

The Hong Kong IPO application prospectus filed by China Micro Semicon (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (688380.SH) has lapsed. The document, submitted on September 23, 2025, became invalid on March 23, 2026, after the standard six-month validity period expired. At the time of the application, China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company Limited acted as the sole sponsor.

According to the previously filed prospectus, China Micro Semicon is a leading provider of intelligent control solutions in China, specializing in the design and delivery of integrated circuit chips, with microcontrollers (MCUs) serving as the core of its product offerings. The company was among the first domestic enterprises in China to engage in the independent research, development, and design of MCUs. Its first-mover advantage and continuous innovation have enabled it to maintain a leading position in the industry. Based on 2024 shipment volume, the company ranked as the top MCU enterprise in China, while it held the third position by revenue.
