Pork Prices Steady at 14.93 Yuan per Kilogram in National Wholesale Markets on May 14

According to monitoring data, the "200 Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" stood at 115.23 on May 14, a decrease of 0.04 points from the previous day. The wholesale price index for "Basket of Goods" products was 115.66, down 0.05 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price for pork in agricultural product markets was 14.93 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday. Beef was priced at 66.33 yuan per kilogram, down 0.4% from the previous day. Mutton was 64.16 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.5%. Egg prices rose 1.4% to 9.26 yuan per kilogram. The price for dressed chicken increased by 0.3% to 16.80 yuan per kilogram.

The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.20 yuan per kilogram, up 0.2% from yesterday. The average price for six key monitored fruits was 7.84 yuan per kilogram, rising 0.3%.

Crucian carp was priced at 20.21 yuan per kilogram, up 0.4%. Carp was 14.87 yuan per kilogram, down 1.2%. Silver carp saw a significant increase of 3.7% to 10.45 yuan per kilogram. Large hairtail rose 0.5% to 41.88 yuan per kilogram.

Among the 46 key monitored varieties in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets today, the top five gainers compared to yesterday were pumpkin, onion, silver carp, Kyoho grapes, and tomatoes, with increases of 4.7%, 3.9%, 3.7%, 2.1%, and 2.1%, respectively. The top five decliners were pineapple, spinach, zucchini, celery, and pear, with decreases of 2.6%, 1.8%, 1.6%, 1.4%, and 1.3%, respectively.
