From October 19 to 21, Jinchengjiang District held a 2026 agricultural drone operator training course. A total of 39 agricultural technical personnel from agricultural service centers in 12 townships and subdistricts across the district and from second-level units directly under the bureau took part in the training.

Through a systematic training model combining theoretical study, field practice, and final assessment, the program comprehensively improved the intelligent operation capabilities of grassroots agricultural technical teams and supported the transformation and upgrading of agriculture toward mechanization and smart operations.

The training adopted a model of indoor classroom instruction plus outdoor practical operation. In the theory classes, professional instructors taught key topics including the basic principles of drones, agricultural application scenarios, flight safety standards, and emergency response.

They also analyzed technical difficulties in light of local farming needs such as plant protection, seeding, and fertilization, helping trainees systematically master professional theoretical knowledge of agricultural drones and strengthen their technical foundation.

Practical training was carried out at the Poyetun site in Liuwei Town. The 39 trainees were divided into four groups, with each group provided with an instructor and an assistant instructor for hands-on teaching. They practiced item by item, including equipment inspection, remote controller operation, aerial hovering, route planning, and variable-rate spraying.

Trainees took turns operating the equipment and, under on-site correction and guidance from instructors, completed the shift from understanding theory to being able to operate in practice.

In the later stage of the training, a dual final assessment covering theory and practical operation was arranged, and all participating trainees passed successfully. Those who passed the assessment will obtain an agricultural unmanned aircraft training qualification certificate, enabling them to carry out agricultural drone operations in a standardized way with certification.

This training effectively addressed the shortcomings of grassroots agricultural technical personnel in operating intelligent agricultural machinery and cultivated a group of low-altitude new farmers who understand technology, are skilled in operation, and can respond to emergencies.

Next, Jinchengjiang District will continue to promote the application of smart agricultural machinery, improve farming efficiency, reduce production costs, help increase agricultural efficiency and farmers' incomes, and inject technological momentum into the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
