Longsys (09976) climbed more than 3% in afternoon trading, with shares up 3.56% as of press time to HK$203.60, on turnover of HK$54.3152 million.

On September 30, the Shanghai Stock Exchange issued an announcement stating that, in accordance with relevant regulations, the list of Stock Connect eligible securities has been adjusted and will take effect from the next Stock Connect trading day (October 8), with Longsys added to the list.

If the company is included in Stock Connect, it is expected to open a window for incremental capital allocation, and the market widely anticipates a rise in liquidity.

It is worth noting that Micron reported fourth-quarter revenue of US$54.229 billion, up 379% year-on-year and 31% quarter-on-quarter, beating market expectations of US$51.49 billion. It forecast first-quarter revenue for fiscal 2027 at a midpoint of US$61.5 billion, above market expectations of US$57.02 billion. The CEO said demand has strengthened further since the last earnings report and that supply-demand conditions in 2027 and 2028 are expected to be significantly tighter than in 2026.
