LUK FOOK HOLD (00590) surged 8.04% intraday, driven by robust interim financial results. The company's stock price climbed sharply as investors reacted positively to its earnings report.
The group reported a 25.6% year-on-year increase in revenue to HK$6.843 billion for the six months ended September 30, 2025. Profit attributable to equity holders rose 42.5% to HK$619 million, with basic earnings per share at HK$1.05. An interim dividend of HK$0.55 per share was proposed.
The gross margin expanded by 2.0 percentage points to a record high of 34.7%, attributed to higher gold prices and an increased sales mix of higher-margin priced jewelry. Operating profit margin also improved by 1.6 percentage points to 11.4%, lifting operating profit by 45.4% to HK$780 million.
