Meinian Onehealth and Ant Health Forge Strategic Alliance to Enter Trillion-Dollar Health Management Market

Deep News03-23

On March 23, Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Holdings Co.,Ltd. (002044) and Ant Health announced a comprehensive strategic partnership. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration across the entire health service chain—covering physical examinations, report interpretation, post-examination consultations, and medication management—to jointly promote the innovative application of AI technology throughout the healthcare service process.

As an initial outcome, Meinian's AI assistant "Health Xiao Mei" has been integrated into the Ant Fortune App. After authorization, users can conveniently access their physical examination reports from the past three years and receive free, professional AI-powered interpretations. A color-coded "red-yellow-blue-green" system clearly highlights examination results, providing an intuitive overview of health status.

The collaboration is seen as a deep integration of "AI health infrastructure" and "a national AI health gateway." Its core objective is to merge the daily health service scenarios of digital health platforms with multidimensional health data, medical diagnostic logic, and offline service systems. This integration aims to extend health services from basic consultations to professional assessments and service fulfillment, creating a more comprehensive and continuous health management loop.

Under the cooperation plan, the two companies will drive collaborative innovation across multiple key scenarios. Initially, Meinian's AI assistant will be embedded within the Ant Fortune platform, combining AI capabilities with professional health services to offer users free, accurate, and easy-to-understand health report analysis and risk alerts. In broader health service scenarios, the partners will explore end-to-end coordination—from health consultations and online diagnoses to medication purchases, payments, health insurance, physical exams, screenings, interventions, and long-term health management. This effort is designed to extend digital health services into offline professional judgment and service execution, gradually forming a closed-loop health management system that spans the user’s entire health journey.

According to Ant Health President Zhang Junjie, the long-term strategic vision of the partnership can be summarized at three levels. The first involves jointly strengthening the health service infrastructure for the AI-driven medical era. By combining Ant Health’s daily health service scenarios with Meinian’s offline health service network, the two aim to build a health service infrastructure that integrates digital access, professional judgment, and standardized fulfillment capabilities.

The second level focuses on co-developing an AI-powered healthcare service platform. As pathways for physical exams, consultations, diagnoses, medication purchases, payments, insurance, and health management are further connected, the partners will work to upgrade health services from isolated touchpoints to a data-driven, continuously evolving AI health service platform.

The third level involves exploring the deep integration of digital services and health management systems around the innovative concept of "life asset management." By leveraging AI and data capabilities, the collaboration seeks to shift health services from single medical encounters toward long-term value management, opening new service pathways and growth opportunities within the trillion-yuan healthcare market.

From an industry perspective, the health management sector is transitioning from a traditional model centered on one-off tests and isolated medical actions to a continuous service system focused on preventive medicine and long-term health management. This shift also signals that the core of industry value is moving from the hundred-billion-yuan physical examination market toward the trillion-yuan health management service market.

In this trend, AI is becoming a fundamental capability connecting users with professional health services, while offline service networks serve as critical infrastructure for the implementation of AI-powered medical care.

At the partnership launch event, Meinian Chairman Yu Rong stated, "The value of health management should not be limited to a single check-up or consultation, but should extend throughout the user’s long-term health journey." Zhang Junjie added, "AI is becoming a vital gateway for users to access health services. Our collaboration with Meinian strengthens the connection between digital health entry points and professional health service networks. We hope this partnership will help more users identify health risks earlier and access high-quality, sustainable health management services more easily in their daily lives."
