Some autonomous driving concept stocks experienced gains. At the time of writing, PONY-W (02026) was up 5.77%, trading at HK$130.2; WERIDE-W (00800) rose 5.71%, reaching HK$24.08; Zhejiang Shibao (01057) increased by 5.55%, quoted at HK$6.09; and CAOCAO INC (02643) climbed 3.67%, standing at HK$34.5. On the news front, Elon Musk made a rare appearance at the Davos Forum on January 22 local time, where he stated that Tesla's Robotaxi autonomous taxi service is expected to see large-scale deployment in the United States this year. "By the end of this year, this service will be very, very common across the U.S.," he said, adding that services without in-car safety supervisors have already begun in Austin, Texas. Soochow Securities pointed out that a global inflection point for Robotaxi commercialization is approaching and is optimistic about domestic L4 companies expanding overseas successfully once again. Ping An Securities believes that although current operational conditions for L3 vehicles still face many restrictions, the approval of L3 vehicle access signifies progress in autonomous driving technology and policy, laying the groundwork for subsequent commercialization of the technology. By 2026, the commercial loop for intelligent driving is expected to be further established.
