The repurchased shares were held as treasury shares, and Zhihan Wang, as the controlling shareholder of the company, is deemed to have an interest in these repurchased shares under Hong Kong disclosure rules, resulting in an increase in his long position.
Prior to this transaction, Zhihan Wang's long position in BASICSEMI was 123.20 million shares, representing 42.85%; following the deemed acquisition, the holding changed to 123.30 million shares, with the long position ratio rising to 42.88%.
