On April 10, consumers were seen selecting cherry tomatoes at a supermarket in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on the same day showed that in March, following the Spring Festival holiday, consumer demand experienced a seasonal decline. The national Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.7% month-on-month but increased by 1.0% compared to the same period last year.
