CEB WATER Reports H1 2026 Results: Net Profit Attributable to Shareholders Falls 8% to HK$518 Million

CEB WATER (01857) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. Revenue reached HK$2.392 billion, representing a 27% decrease year-over-year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the company was HK$518 million, down 8% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at 18.09 HK cents, with an interim dividend of 6.09 HK cents per share declared.

During the review period, the group achieved its "dual zero" control target (zero safety incidents and zero environmental incidents) across all projects under construction and operation. The group treated approximately 888.71 million cubic meters of sewage, supplied about 46.42 million cubic meters of raw water, and delivered roughly 19.97 million cubic meters of reclaimed water.

In terms of engineering construction, four new projects were initiated during the review period, with a combined designed water treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day. Two projects were completed and put into operation, with a total designed water treatment capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day.

For the first half of the 2026 fiscal year, the group invested in and secured one new project, involving an investment amount of approximately RMB 90.4 million. Additionally, it undertook several light-asset projects and services, with contract values totaling around RMB 68.5 million. New projects added a combined designed water treatment capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day.

As of June 30, 2026, the group had invested in and held 173 environmental protection projects, with a total investment of approximately RMB 31.94 billion. It also undertook various light-asset projects and services, including entrusted operations, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), EPCO (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operation), equipment supply, and technical services. The group's business footprint covers more than 60 counties, cities, and districts across 13 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government in mainland China, with overseas operations extending to countries such as Mauritius.
