Stock News12-17

On December 17, Beijing time, Uxin Group (UXIN.US), a U.S.-listed used-car retailer, announced the trial operation of its new used-car warehouse superstore in Jinan, Shandong. This marks the fifth such facility launched by Uxin.

Located in Licheng District, Jinan, the project features an advanced used-car remanufacturing factory and a warehouse-style superstore, covering the entire process from vehicle selection, purchase, inspection, refurbishment, display, and sales to after-sales services. The first phase spans approximately 40,000 square meters, capable of showcasing and selling over 1,000 vehicles simultaneously.

The Jinan facility follows Uxin's established superstores in Xi'an, Hefei, Wuhan, and Zhengzhou, reinforcing its "offline warehouse superstore + online nationwide sales" business model. The trial operation is expected to enhance Uxin's supply chain capabilities, delivery efficiency, and vehicle refurbishment standards in East China while providing consumers with a convenient, one-stop used-car purchasing experience.

In January 2025, Uxin signed an agreement with the Licheng District Government of Jinan and Jinan State-Owned Industrial Assets Management Company to jointly develop the remanufacturing factory and superstore, with a total investment of approximately 500 million yuan.

As the capital of Shandong Province, Jinan has seen rapid growth in its automotive industry, with over 4 million registered vehicles, making it a key consumption and growth hub for the sector. The city is also accelerating the development of its automotive supply chain, attracting manufacturers of complete vehicles, key components, and automotive electronics.

The launch of this high-standard refurbishment factory and superstore will further strengthen Jinan's automotive ecosystem, promoting large-scale, branded, and standardized development in the regional used-car market.
