Fuel prices in Guizhou province are set to increase starting from midnight on July 17.
The Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced that, in accordance with the national refined oil product pricing mechanism, the National Development and Reform Commission has decided to raise domestic refined oil product prices effective 24:00 on July 17.
The adjustment is based on changes in international market oil prices. Following national adjustment requirements and relevant regulations, the price per ton for 89# gasoline (National VIB standard) and 0# diesel in the province will be raised by 300 yuan and 290 yuan, respectively, from the current standard. The specific retail prices will be determined by operating enterprises within the maximum allowable wholesale and retail price limits.
Taking the Guiyang area as an example, after the adjustment, the price for 89# gasoline will rise from 6.89 yuan per liter to 7.12 yuan, 92# gasoline from 7.31 yuan per liter to 7.55 yuan, and 95# gasoline from 7.72 yuan per liter to 7.98 yuan.
For a typical family car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling up with 92# gasoline will now cost approximately 12 yuan more.
