51WORLD (06651) Surges Over 12% as Major Shareholder Voluntarily Extends Lock-Up Period, Signaling Confidence in Company's Position in Physical AI Infrastructure

Stock News10-28 11:28

51WORLD (06651) continued its upward trajectory, rising 11.88% to HK$63.1 as of press time, with a trading volume of HK$395 million.

On the news front, 51WORLD announced that Li Yi, a major shareholder, Chairman, Executive Director, and Chief Executive Officer, has voluntarily committed not to reduce his holdings of 82.6277 million H shares, representing approximately 19.7% of the company's issued share capital, in any manner during the period from December 30, 2026 to December 30, 2030.

The Board believes that Li Yi's voluntary and substantial extension of the lock-up period until the end of 2030 reflects the founder and core management's firm belief in the company's future business expansion, technological breakthroughs, and long-term investment value.

Recently, 51WORLD announced that its subsidiary 51Sim was successfully selected for the NVIDIA Halos SAFE ecosystem list, being the only Chinese company on the list. Halos SAFE is NVIDIA's new safety framework that combines simulation and real-vehicle testing to generate autonomous driving safety evidence. This marks the second significant collaboration between the two parties this year.

Huatai Securities previously noted that the company's value anchor is expected to shift from project-based revenue to customer value and continuous usage of Physical AI infrastructure, opening up the ceiling for the company's market space.
