CSPC Pharma (01093) has announced that the Phase I/II clinical trial (SYS6088-001) of SYS6088 Injection, developed by the company for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, has officially commenced at its first research site in China.

The product is a recombinant humanized trispecific antibody targeting programmed death receptor 1 (PD1), vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA4). It can specifically bind to PD1 and CTLA4 on the surface of target cell membranes as well as VEGFA in the tumor microenvironment, thereby restoring the killing function of T lymphocytes (T cells) within the tumor microenvironment, inhibiting angiogenesis, and expanding T cells during the immune priming phase, exerting a triple synergistic antitumor effect. The modification of the Fc region reduces the toxicity risk of the product while effectively extending its half-life.

The company received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by China's National Medical Products Administration in October 2026 and initiated the Phase I clinical trial of the product following approval. The Phase I/II clinical trial now launched is a first-in-human study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK) characteristics, and preliminary antitumor efficacy of the product in patients with advanced solid tumors. Currently, participant recruitment and screening for this clinical trial are being actively advanced.
