Xiaomi's Lei Jun Announces Showroom Arrival of YU7 GT Model from May 16th, Preceding Late May Launch

On May 15th, Lei Jun announced that the Xiaomi YU7 GT will begin arriving at showrooms starting May 16th.

The vehicle features a new Cherry Red color option, described as having a paint finish that shifts with light and shadow to present a rich, multi-layered gradient effect, which is reportedly particularly striking to see in person. Customers are invited to visit showrooms for an in-person viewing.

It is estimated that by mid-to-late May, the model will be available for viewing across 268 showrooms in 82 cities nationwide. Appointments for in-person viewings are welcomed.

Previously, on May 15th, Xiaomi Auto officially released a set of new official images of the YU7 GT in the "Crimson Red" color. The company had already announced that the Xiaomi YU7 GT will be officially launched in late May.

On April 24th, at the Beijing Auto Show press conference, Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, delivered a speech formally announcing that the Xiaomi YU7 GT will be released in late May. The vehicle is positioned as a high-performance SUV suitable for long-distance travel.

Lei Jun previewed some parameters for the YU7 GT, including a maximum horsepower of 1003 PS, a top speed of 300 km/h, and a CLTC range of 705 km.

Furthermore, Lei Jun stated that Xiaomi Auto has delivered over 655,000 units cumulatively within 24 months. As of April 23rd, the new generation Xiaomi SU7 has received over 60,000 locked orders, with more than 26,000 units already delivered.
