Citigroup has implemented four artificial intelligence tools within its wealth management division, with one designed for client use and three for advisor utilization. These tools are intended to shorten the process from raw data to investment recommendations, enhancing advisor efficiency and improving client experience. The specific functions of the four tools are as follows: Portfolio Intelligence – Provides clients with one-click, personalized investment portfolio insights. AskWealth CIO – Through a chat interface, enables advisors to instantly access the latest market insights from the Chief Investment Office (CIO). Client 360 – An internal platform that consolidates fragmented client data to form a comprehensive client profile. CitiScribe – An AI-powered note-taking tool that automatically summarizes discussion content and key points from client meetings. Andy Sieg, Head of Citigroup Wealth, stated that the bank's objective is to build an AI-driven ecosystem capable of identifying investment opportunities, uncovering risks, and providing guidance for follow-up actions on a large scale. Joe Bonanno, Head of Data, Analytics, and Innovation for Citigroup Wealth, also noted that these platforms are expected to save significant time for advisors, bankers, and service teams. Currently, these tools are in various stages of testing and deployment. Among them, CitiScribe was rolled out to all wealth advisors in North America in the first quarter of 2026. Client 360 and AskWealth CIO are being piloted with select groups of advisors in North America, with plans for broader rollout in the coming weeks and months. The client-facing Portfolio Intelligence is already available to Citigroup Private Bank clients in North America and is expected to be extended to all wealth management clients later in 2026.
