HISENSE HA Deploys RMB2.02 Billion in Idle Cash to CITIC Securities’ Medium-Low Risk Wealth Products

Bulletin Express10-21

Hisense Home Appliances Group Co., Ltd. (HISENSE HA) disclosed that its subsidiary, Guangdong Hisense Refrigerator Marketing Co., subscribed to four tranches of the “CITIC Securities AM Xinhai No. 18 Separate Asset Management Plan” between 28 October 2025 and 21 October 2026, committing a total of RMB2.02 billion in idle self-owned funds.

The subscriptions—RMB790.00 million (Oct 2025), RMB400.00 million (Sept 2026), RMB400.00 million (Oct 2026) and RMB430.00 million (Oct 2026)—are classified as fixed-income, medium-low risk products with open-ended tenors that permit redemption at the subscriber’s discretion. Investment scopes span bank deposits, negotiable certificates of deposit, standardised debt instruments (treasury, policy and local government bonds), money-market and bond funds, structured deposits, and participation in bond repo and lending transactions. Returns will fluctuate with market conditions and are not guaranteed.

The board had previously obtained shareholder approval to place up to RMB23.00 billion of idle funds into short-term, medium- and low-risk instruments. Management states that the current deployment enhances capital efficiency without impeding operating liquidity or core business development.

Individually, none of the four agreements met Hong Kong Listing Rule thresholds for disclosure. Aggregated, the RMB2.02 billion commitment pushes applicable percentage ratios above 5 % but below 25 %, rendering the series a discloseable transaction requiring public announcement. All dealings with CITIC Securities Asset Management Co., Ltd.—a wholly owned subsidiary of CITIC Securities Company Limited—were conducted on normal commercial terms, and the counterparties are independent of HISENSE HA and its connected persons.
