Ongoing conflicts in the Middle East have further cemented the United States' status as a leading energy exporter, with Asian and European buyers competing aggressively for available shipments of US crude oil, natural gas, and jet fuel.
According to data from the US Energy Information Administration, exports of US crude oil and petroleum products reached a new high last week, averaging close to 12.9 million barrels per day. Figures from ship-tracking firm Kpler indicate liquefied natural gas shipments also surged significantly, with last month's export volumes hitting a record level.
There are no signs of this robust demand easing: as of Wednesday, more than 60 empty supertankers were headed toward the US Gulf Coast, approximately triple the number seen prior to the conflict, signaling that US energy export volumes are set to continue rising in the coming months.
