Yonyou hosted the 2026 Global Business Innovation Conference (GBIC·2026) in Nanjing from August 6 to 8, drawing nearly 10,000 attendees including corporate leaders, industry executives, and scholars from China and abroad. The conference, themed "Harness AI to Drive Growth," explored global business transformation trends under the AI revolution and provided a systematic breakdown of methodologies for scaling enterprise AI.
During the event, Yonyou formally announced its strategic shift from enterprise software to enterprise AI, unveiling a new product and service matrix. This includes the core AI software Yonyou BIP 6, an integrated hardware-software Enterprise AI Box, and AI BaaS (Business Operations Services), designed to help industries enter an era of AI-driven growth.
As the flagship enterprise AI software, Yonyou BIP 6 introduces an "AI+X" architecture, marking a paradigm shift in product form, customer value, and business model. It embeds intelligent agent capabilities deep into business processes and management scenarios, supporting large-scale AI application deployment and high-quality growth across sectors.
Representatives from key clients and partners, including China Merchants Group, CITIC Group, Sinomach, China Shipbuilding, China Three Gorges, Wanhua Chemical, Conch Group, GAC Group, and Michelin (China), witnessed Yonyou's strategic transformation and innovation showcase.
AI as a General-Purpose Technology Revolution
Artificial intelligence, following the steam engine, electricity, and computers, is now driving a fourth general-purpose technology revolution, pushing society from the industrial era into a new "intelligence civilization." Yonyou Chairman and CEO Wang Wenjing stated that AI represents the largest revolutionary technology wave since the computer's invention, moving enterprise digitalization into a second phase centered on intelligence.
AI will reshape enterprises across six dimensions: decision-making, products and services, operations, business models, asset structures, and organizational forms. Companies globally are accelerating toward "Digital Enterprise 2.0," characterized by data and model-driven operations, human-machine collaboration, self-owned cognitive assets, agile responses, precise management, and autonomous operations.
The core goal of AI implementation is to create quantifiable value, enhancing enterprise and employee capabilities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, control risks, drive growth, and upgrade competitiveness. Wang Feng, Chairman of Hejun Consulting, noted that Digital Enterprise 2.0 will consist of "humans + agents + robots," representing a new paradigm revolution with AI spreading across industries and functions.
Yonyou and Hejun Consulting jointly released the Enterprise AI Maturity Model (EAIMM), defining a five-level progression from L1 (job enhancement) to L5 (intelligent innovation). This model evaluates six dimensions including comprehensive capability, human-AI relationships, AI application levels, and enterprise value, guiding practical AI implementation.
Wang Wenjing emphasized that AI is a new paradigm for software, not a replacement, but an AI-powered upgrade. He advocated for a "dual-mode" approach: using rule-based, deterministic, precise calculation software for execution, and intelligent agent software for decision-making and autonomous execution in uncertain scenarios.
Yonyou's Strategic Upgrade: From Enterprise Software to Enterprise AI
As the global enterprise services industry enters the agent era, software is undergoing an AI-driven generational shift. With China's "AI+" initiative deepening and demands for localization and data security rising, enterprise digitalization now focuses on secure, controllable, and intelligent upgrades.
Customer demands have shifted from pilot projects to large-scale AI deployment, prioritizing cost reduction, risk control, and business growth. Clients now pay for business outcomes, not just software features. The industry is moving from the "X+AI" co-pilot era to an "AI+X" agent era, where humans authorize AI execution, and eventually to an AI-native era.
Yonyou has completed its strategic transformation from "enterprise software" to "enterprise AI," building a three-tier architecture: Yonyou BIP 6 (AI software), the Enterprise AI Box (hardware-software integration), and AI BaaS (business operations services). This upgrade builds on 38 years of enterprise service experience.
BIP 6: From "X+AI" to "AI+X"
Yonyou's product strategy is "dual-mode agent software and process execution software, with AI x Data x Process integration and a four-layer architecture of data, models, platforms, and applications." Yonyou BIP 6 marks a milestone upgrade from traditional "X+AI" to "AI+X," integrating AI-native and mature application capabilities.
Five new AI-native products were launched:
YonWork Enterprise AI Workbench: A central AI hub understanding business, executing tasks, and ensuring security, supporting Web, mobile, and desktop access across all roles. It features full-chain security mechanisms and 24/7 cloud monitoring for a stable AI system.
YonData Enterprise AI Data Agent: Based on "model-data resonance," it enables deep collaboration between business models, knowledge systems, and data assets. It covers data collection, development, governance, intelligent querying, and insight-driven decision-making, transforming data work into efficient, intelligent, and agile processes.
YonCode Enterprise-Level AI Coding Platform: A "coding agent" for complex enterprise development, leveraging proprietary engines to solve AI coding scaling challenges. It offers business cognition, model-driven development, long-task closures, and agent-native capabilities, enabling a shift from code generation to engineering development systems.
Yonyou BIP Penetrating Supervision Platform: Supported by the DRP digital foundation, it targets state-owned enterprise supervision needs, providing full-chain capabilities from data collection to risk identification, collaborative oversight, and risk tracking, transforming risk management from passive defense to active control.
YonOnto Enterprise Ontology Platform: Converts enterprise operations into dynamic, inferable business knowledge graphs, unifying business semantics. It allows large models to understand enterprise business and data, providing a unified cognitive foundation for all-scenario intelligent applications, upgrading knowledge from static storage to dynamic cognitive assets.
To date, BIP 6 includes 63 vertical domain agents, 623 intelligent capabilities (Skills), and over 26,000 application and service interfaces, covering finance, HR, procurement, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and R&D.
Expanding the FDE Collaboration Model
In the AI era, the FDE (Field Deployment Engineer) model has emerged as a new collaborative approach between enterprises and service providers. Unlike traditional "one-time delivery" projects, FDE focuses on business outcomes through deep partnership. Enterprises open up scenarios and business needs, while service providers contribute AI technology and expertise. Multi-disciplinary teams jointly research, create, and deploy AI applications, continuously building reusable intelligent capabilities.
Payment is based on software and standard services plus a share of business results. Yonyou has established a dedicated FDE team, achieving positive early results with clients like Baigong Steel and Fosun Group.
Enterprise AI Box: Secure, Local Deployment
To address data security, business adaptation, and token cost challenges in AI deployment, Yonyou launched the Enterprise AI Box. This integrated hardware-software solution ensures local, secure AI implementation.
Key advantages include:
1) Data and models run locally on internal networks with hardware encryption and physical isolation, ensuring complete data security and control.
2) Local token generation eliminates cloud token costs, reducing expenses.
3) Native integration with Yonyou BIP product lines ensures deep alignment with business logic, enabling agent-based reasoning and execution.
4) Plug-and-play functionality with zero waiting time for deployment.
AI BaaS: Outcome-Based Business Operations
Many enterprises are now outsourcing functions like finance to professional service providers. Business operations services have evolved from low-cost labor (1.0) to software-assisted efficiency (2.0) and now to AI-based operations (AI BaaS, 3.0).
Yonyou's AI BaaS moves beyond providing software tools, directly undertaking enterprise operations and delivering business outcomes. Starting with finance outsourcing, it handles accounting, treasury, tax, reporting, compliance, and archives, improving quality while significantly reducing costs through AI.
Harnessing AI to Drive Growth and Create New Business Value
