Dajin Heavy Industry Secures Shipbuilding Contracts with Norwegian and Greek Owners Totaling Approximately $300 Million

Dajin Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd. has announced that it, along with its subsidiary Tangshan Dajin Offshore Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., has signed two bulk carrier construction contracts each with a Greek shipowner and a Norwegian shipowner. The company will be responsible for the design, construction, and delivery of a total of four 211,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage) bulk carriers for these two clients. Each vessel will have an overall length of approximately 299.95 meters, a breadth of about 50 meters, and a depth of around 25 meters. The total value of the contracts for these four vessels is approximately $300 million (equivalent to about 2.05 billion Chinese yuan). These ship orders are scheduled for delivery in batches by 2029.
